November 1 through 30 Exhibits Throughout the Library


November 1 to 30:

  • “Knoxville News Sentinel Historical Exhibit,”  by East Tennessee History Center and Adam Alfrey will be in the Reading Rotunda of the library.
  • “Fake News/Real News” Exhibit by Kathleen Christy and K.C. Williams in the Reading Rotunda of the library.
  • “Commemoration of 150th Anniversary of ‘The Maryville Republican’ and William B. Scott” Exhibit,  by Elaine Russell will be in one mid-gallery display near the Magazine Shelves.
  • “Blount County Potters Guild” Exhibit, coordinated by Marian Schlauch, will be in one vertical display case and one square pedestal case near the Audio Visual (AV) area in the Main Gallery.
  • “Archives Week” Exhibit,  by Jackie Glenn, Blount County Archives,  will be in the square pedestal display case in the Entry Rotunda of the library.
  • “Appalachian Storytelling” Exhibit, by Linda Marcus, will be in the Genealogy display case at Temporary Books Shelves.
  • “World Day for Prevention of Child Abuse” Exhibit,  by Nicole Wicker and New Hope Children’s Advocacy Centerwill be on one easel space in the sitting area of the Main Gallery.
  • “Books for Soldiers” Exhibit, by Kellie Frazier & Karen Fair, Blount County Friends of the Library, will be in the vertical display case in the nook of the wall at the end of the Circulation Check-In Desk of Main Gallery.
  • “Maryville Christian School Student Art” Exhibit, coordinated by Becky Patterson, on the Art Panels at the Reading Rotunda end of the Main Gallery.
  • “Blount County Arts and Crafts Guild Member Art” Exhibit coordinated by Lyda Plemons, will be on the Art Wall at the Bookmark Café, on two easels in the sitting area of the Main Gallery and in one mid-gallery display case in the near the Magazine Shelves.
  • “Thanks, Food and Giving” Display by Information Services located in the Reference Area of the library.
  • “Confederate Civil War Submarine: Working Scale Model” Exhibit, by Lee Reynolds, will be on the Magazine Counter in the Main Gallery.
