room has been designed with the natural resources of
Blount County in mind. Come explore the Catalog Trees, Sunshine Room,
Reading Pond,
and the Mountain Bookshelves, as well as the Secret Garden Amphitheatre.

Dragon Story Hour
will be presented by library staff in the Children’s Reading Pond for pre-school
and elementary aged children.
This program emphasizes
stories and ideas from the “Picture America” display in the library gallery
Friday, Saturday, & Sunday January 29-31, All Day,
National Puzzle Day
will be celebrated with a weekend of puzzle fun for the whole family
Foreign Language Story Hours:
Community volunteers have previously hosted foreign language story hours
at our library. We invite anyone interested in presenting this kind of
service to contact the children's library at 273-1414.
Elementary Age Activities:
Tuesdays, 4:00
