CHECK OUT LENGTH:
Books, CDs, and audiocassettes are checked out for 21 days.
Videos, DVDs, book/toy kits, and magazines are checked out for 4 days.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CHECK OUT ITEMS PER LIBRARY
CARD:
15 Books
4 each of videos, audios, magazines, CDs, and book/toy kits
4 each of DVDs and books on CD
RENEWALS:
Materials may be renewed once, except for items which are on reserve.
Renewals can be made by phone or through our website. Please have your library card number
ready when you call.
RETURN PROCEDURES:
To avoid fines, all items must be returned before closing time of the date due
as shown on your receipt.
A drive-up book drop located on the right side of the building is available for
return of materials at any time.
FINES AND CHARGES:
A fine of 20¢ per day for all items except videos and DVDs is charged for
overdue materials.
A fine of $2 per day is charged for each overdue video or DVD.
As a courtesy, reminder notices are sent to patrons when library materials are 2
weeks overdue. If items are not returned within 30 days of their due date,
a bill will be issued for the cost of the materials and outstanding fines.
Materials more than 45 days overdue are eligible to be turned over to a
collection agency for further action, and an additional $20 will be added to the
account.
Overdue fines should be paid at the circulation check-out desk upon return.
An accumulation of fines in excess of $4.99 may result in suspension of library
privileges.
All checks will be deposited. A $20 fee will be charged for returned
checks.
